  • Getting started

    Welcome to wowecon.com! Get started by typing the name of a World of Warcraft item into the search box. Searching for Mooncloth, for example, will yield a page of results for items related to Mooncloth. Click on an item with prices shown next to it to see a selection of charts, enchanting products, and other useful data. Each of the large links below the item name on a chart or item detail page will take you to another type of chart or data. We hope you enjoy the site!

  • Region, Server, and Faction selection

    In order to get prices for your Region, Server, and Faction, select them from the Server bar at the top of every page. Once you have made these settings, they will be saved so you do not have to set them each time you visit the site.

  • Time zone selection

    Setting your time zone on the site will allow you to view data and charts with your local time. You can do this by selecting the option that shows your current time from the Time dropdown in the top-right. Your selection will be saved so you do not have to set it each time you visit the site.

  • Uncluttering the top bar

    Once you have set your server and time zone, you can hide those boxes to free up space at the top of the page. This is especially useful if you run at a low browser resolution. Click the hide link next to each dropdown to minimize it into the upper right hand corner. If you wish to restore the minimized dropdown, click its corresponding link in that corner. For example, to restore the time zone bar, click show time zones.

  • premium - Email Price Alerts
    • Adding a new alert - From an item's page, use the Price Alerts input box to add a new alert.
      • One-Shot vs. Recurring - One-Shot alerts are automatically removed after the first time they fire. Recurring alerts continue to fire until you remove them, but no more than once in a 24-hour period.
      • Above vs. Below - You can set an alert to fire when an auction is seen either above or below your specified price.
      • Email and SMS - Your alert can be sent to your main email address, a SMS email address, or both. Alerts sent to your main email contain a detailed report of useful data. Alerts sent to a SMS email address are formatted to fit into a single TXT message. In order to send an alert to a SMS email address, you must first set one in your profile on your my account page. Please note that your cellular provider must provide an Email-SMS gateway for this to work. (For example, US/Verizon customers can send a SMS via email to 1112223333@vtext.com where (111) 222-3333 is your cellular phone number.)
    • Viewing your alerts - Follow the Price alerts link on the my account to view your existing Price Alerts. You can see when an alert was last fired, how many total times it has been fired, and other information from this page.
    • Removing an alert - View your price alert listing and click the remove link next to the alert you wish to remove.
    • Changing your Email/SMS options - You can change where an alert gets sent by clicking on the Yes and No links next to Email and SMS for each price alert. This will determine whether your alert gets sent to your general email, SMS, or both.
    • Temporarily disabling an alert - If you wish to disable an alert without removing it, set both the Email and SMS options for that alert to No on your price alert listing. Change them back to Yes when you wish to resume receiving that alert.
  • premium - My Sales
    • IMPORTANT - In order to track your in-game sales on wowecon.com, you must enter your wowecon premium username and password in our launcher. This is not your World of Warcraft username and password, it is the one you use to log into wowecon.com. When you first sign up for wowecon premium, only auctions of yours that have been started since you became a member will appear on the site. In other words, if you sign up today, your auctions started yesterday (even if they finish today) will not be shown.
    • Viewing your sales reports - You can view your in-game sales reports by choosing a server and clicking the My sales link in your my account menu.
      • Sales summary - The sales summary shows aggregate statistics about your sales, grouped by item. If you have sold more than one of a given item, its data will be shown in one row. This view allows you to easily see your total revenue, profit, and fees for each type of item you trade.
      • Sales history - The sales history shows all your transactions for one particular item. You can easily see how many successful or unsuccessful auctions you have attempted, how much you have paid in deposits and fees, and your overall profit for that item.
      • Transaction list - The transaction list shows all of your sales or attempted sales, even the ones that fail. This is a log of your activity that is useful for keeping track of individual auctions.
    • Zero-sum transactions - You can choose whether to display zero-sum transactions in your sales reports using the link at the top of the report. Zero-sum transactions are auctions you place that have no impact on your bottom line. That means there are no deposits, auction house fees, or earnings to list. These kind of transactions are common when dealing with enchanting materials and other no-depsit items.
  • premium - Watch List
    • Viewing your Watch List - Follow the Watch list link on the my account menu to view your Watch List.
    • Adding items - To add an item to your Watch List, click the watch link that appears next to search result rows or next to an item's price stats on chart pages.
    • Removing items - You can remove an item from your Watch List by either clicking the unwatch link that appears instead of watch for items already on your list, or from your Watch List page.
    • Receiving your Watch List in a daily email - From your Watch List page, choose a time of day to receive your watch list in a daily email. Please make sure your time zone is set correctly (see above) for your Watch List to arrive at the time you specify.
  • premium - Managing your account

    You can manage your account and change your contact information, email addresses, and other options in the my account area. This can be found at the top of the my account menu.

  • premium - Subscription management

    To renew, cancel, or view your subscription information, click the Subscription management link on the my account menu.
